چکیده

The belief that the project manager, a person in charge of the project management (PM), plays a very important role to handle conflicting goals with the usage of all resources through the organization is without doubt. The main purpose of the project management is to minimize total project and crashing cost with the reference to both direct and indirect cost and other related constraints simultaneously. This work focuses on the application of fuzzy sets to solve fuzzy multi-objective PM decision problem with the consideration of its completion time in a suitable range; and it will present an interactive solution procedure to determine the preferred compromise solution for the multi-objective PM decision problem. The proposed approach considers the imprecise nature of the input data by implementing the minimum operator and also assumes that each objective function has a fuzzy goal. And this approach focuses on minimizing the worst upper bound to obtain an efficient solution which is close to the best lower bound of each objective function. For attaining our objective, a detailed numerical example is presented to illustrate the feasibility of applying the proposed approach to actual PM decision problem at the end of this paper. Furthermore, we believe that this approach can be applied to solve other multi-objective decision making problems.

Fuzzy Multi-Objective Linear Programming for Project Management Decision under Uncertain Environment with AHP Based Weighted Average Method

Smooth implementation and controlling conflicting goals of a project with the usage of all related resources through organization is inherently a complex task to management. At the same time deterministic models are never efficient in practical project management (PM) decision problems because the related parameters are frequently fuzzy in nature. The project execution time is a major concern o...

A fuzzy multi-objective model for a project management problem

In this research, the multi-objective project management decision problem with fuzzy goals and fuzzy constraints are considered. We constitute α-cut approach and two various fuzzy goal programming solution methods for solving the Multi-Objective Project Management (MOPM) decision problem under fuzzy environments. The Interactive fuzzy multi-objective linear programming (i-FMOLP) and Weighted Ad...

A new method for solving fuzzy multi-objective linear programming problems

The purpose of this paper is to develop a new two-stage method for fuzzy multi-objective linear program and apply to engineering project portfolio selection. In the fuzzy multi-objective linear program, all the objective coefficients, technological coefficients and resources are trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (TrFNs). An order relationship for TrFNs is introduced by using the interval expectation of...

Providing a Method for Solving Interval Linear Multi-Objective Problems Based on the Goal Programming Approach

Most research has focused on multi-objective issues in its definitive form, with decision-making coefficients and variables assumed to be objective and constraint functions. In fact, due to inaccurate and ambiguous information, it is difficult to accurately identify the values of the coefficients and variables. Interval arithmetic is appropriate for describing and solving uncertainty and inaccu...

A New Compromise Decision-making Model based on TOPSIS and VIKOR for Solving Multi-objective Large-scale Programming Problems with a Block Angular Structure under Uncertainty

This paper proposes a compromise model, based on a new method, to solve the multi-objective large-scale linear programming (MOLSLP) problems with block angular structure involving fuzzy parameters. The problem involves fuzzy parameters in the objective functions and constraints. In this compromise programming method, two concepts are considered simultaneously. First of them is that the optimal ...
